As I delved deeper into my studies, I began to see patterns emerge - not just in textbooks and research papers, but in the world around me. The theories of great philosophers and the findings of pioneering psychologists started to illuminate the complexities of human behavior I observed daily.

The academic setting also introduced me to a diverse array of therapeutic modalities and approaches. This exposure was crucial in helping me understand that there's no one-size-fits-all solution to healing trauma. Each individual's journey is unique, and having a varied toolkit allows me to adapt my approach to best serve each person's needs.

Perhaps most importantly, my academic background instilled in me a deep appreciation for the scientific way of thinking. It taught me to be mindful of human biases - both my own and those of others. This awareness has been invaluable in my work with trauma survivors, helping me to remain grounded and objective while still being compassionate and empathetic.

As I've continued my journey beyond the halls of academia, I've found that the knowledge I gained there has matured and intertwined with my real-world experiences. The wisdom passed down through generations of philosophers, psychologists, clinicians, and scientists has become a living, breathing part of my practice.

This foundation has given me the tools to observe and understand the repetitive patterns in human behavior, to recognize different cognitive biases and defense mechanisms, and to approach each client with a blend of scientific rigor and human compassion. It's knowledge that, with time and experience, has ripened into wisdom.

The rapidly expanding field of trauma research and treatment often outpaces the academic world, which can take years to fully integrate and validate new approaches. Modern trauma modalities have complemented and enhanced my academic knowledge.

It became clear that to be truly effective in trauma treatment, I needed to bridge the gap between academic rigor and cutting-edge therapeutic practices.  I had to find my own way to connect and communicate across these sometimes disparate spheres of knowledge. It was in this process that I discovered Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, which has since become my go-to approach for modern trauma healing.

Western science, in its pursuit of empirical evidence, have overlooked the concept of the soul while in reality all healing that happens its THROUGH THE CONNECTION WITH CONSCIOUSNESS, INTELLIGENCE OF LIFE, OR SOUL.  

Throughout my career, I've studied many different therapeutic approaches, but always felt that something was missing. When I found and later got trained in IFS, I had an epiphany: this was what I had been searching for in therapy. It filled the gaps left by my academic training, offering a holistic approach that honors both the scientific and the spiritual aspects of the human experience.

By integrating my academic background with these modern trauma modalities, particularly IFS, I've found a more complete and effective way to support my clients. This synthesis allows me to draw on the strengths of rigorous academic research while remaining open to innovative approaches that address the whole person - mind, body, and soul.

This journey of integration has not only enhanced my professional practice but has also deepened my personal understanding of trauma and healing. It's a continuous process of learning, adapting, and growing, always with the goal of providing the most effective and compassionate care for those I serve. IFS therapy has been my go to for modern trauma healing that integrates academic knowledge, spiritual aspect, deep understanding of human psyche both mental and spiritual aspect.  it offers a profound understanding of the human psyche that encompasses both mental and spiritual dimensions. Currently I use IFS as a map for integrating energy healing sessions as well as to teach my clients self healing with IFS as a map.

I've observed individuals who, after brief trainings in energy work or healing modalities, claim the title of healer or spiritual guide. While their intentions may be pure (although not always are and some of them do it to fullfill narcisistic desires) , this rush to adopt a spiritual identity often leads to a superficial understanding of the healing process and can even result in abuse of power.

As C.G. Jung wisely noted, "One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The latter procedure, however, is disagreeable and therefore not popular."

This insight resonates deeply with my approach to healing. True spiritual growth and healing aren't about transcending our wounds or creating a more "enlightened" persona. Instead, they involve the challenging work of confronting our shadows and integrating all aspects of ourselves.

I often find myself questioning: Is this approach truly spirituality, or merely a caricature of it? Does it promote genuine healing and integration, or further feed our illusions? When does spirituality become a new form of religion, and what purpose do these modern spiritual movements serve?

In my practice, I strive to maintain a clear boundary between authentic spirituality and modern "spiritual" trends that may not bring true healing and connection. Genuine awakening isn't about elevating oneself above others or escaping into lofty spiritual concepts. It's about grounding ourselves in reality, acknowledging our wounds, and doing the hard work of integration.

Ultimately, I believe that true healing involves bringing light to our wounds and integrating our shadow aspects, not bypassing them. This approach, while challenging, offers a path to genuine growth and transformation, bridging the gap between academic understanding, modern trauma modalities, and authentic spiritual practice.

true spirituality is a whole-being awakening, one that heartfully embraces our entire human experience: our feelings, our stories, our bodies, our relationships with others, and the earth that houses us.
